01Overview
Easy PHP Settings provides a user-friendly interface to view and manage crucial PHP and WordPress configurations without manually editing server files. It works on single-site and multisite installations, so administrators can optimize memory, uploads, execution limits, and debugging constants directly from the dashboard.
02Features
An easy way to manage common PHP INI settings and WordPress debugging constants from the WordPress admin panel.
Adjust memory_limit, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size, max_execution_time, and max_input_vars from dedicated fields.
Add extra PHP directives for sessions, timezone, logging, file uploads, and more in a flexible configuration area.
Apply Default, Performance, WooCommerce, Development, or Large Media profiles that populate core fields and custom directives.
Configure WP_MEMORY_LIMIT and WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT to reduce memory-exhausted errors on heavier sites.
Saving settings generates .user.ini and php.ini in the WordPress root for hosts that honor them.
For locked-down servers, generate snippets you can place in .user.ini, .htaccess, or other server config files.
Browse loaded PHP extensions by category and compare current vs. recommended values on a live Status tab.
Turn WP_DEBUG, WP_DEBUG_LOG, WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY, and SCRIPT_DEBUG on or off in wp-config.php from a Debugging tab.
Track setting changes with restore options, export history as CSV, and migrate configs between sites as JSON.
On multisite networks, Super Admins manage settings at the network level under Network Admin → Settings → PHP Settings.
03Who it's for
01
Raise upload limits, memory, and execution time without SSH or host panel guesswork.
02
Toggle WordPress debugging constants safely and inspect the live PHP environment from wp-admin.
03
Standardize PHP-related settings across client sites and manage network installs from one place.
04
Use Performance, WooCommerce, or Large Media presets when catalogs and uploads need higher limits.
04How it works
Install and activate Easy PHP Settings, then open Tools → PHP Settings (or Network Admin → Settings → PHP Settings on multisite).
Check current vs. recommended values, then apply a preset or edit core PHP and WordPress memory fields.
Save to write .user.ini / php.ini where supported, or use the Configuration Generator for locked environments.
Use the Debugging tab to toggle WP_DEBUG-related constants without hand-editing wp-config.php.
